Childhood vs. Adulthood

by Sung A Hong

I have two houses. One in Korea and another in the United States. As a young child, I used to live alone in the United States as I studied abroad. Even though both houses belong to me, the ways that I feel the atmosphere from two houses are different. I feel “beloved, secure, and comfortable” at home in Korea, while I feel “independent, responsible, and lonely” from the house in the United States. For this interactive work, I would like to deliver two diverged feelings and moods of childhood and adulthood by creating personal spaces.
